I Just Got Back From Thailand!

I just got back from Thailand! It is a beautiful place. I was really happy to see my old friends that I knew three years ago. Thailand was my birthplace and my home. I visited my family and some close relatives on my dad's side of the family. Then, I stayed at the house of relatives at my mom's side. While we're there, we saw lots of things such as palaces and temples and the busy streets of Myanmar. You can find out more at http://www.tourismthailand.org/.

All of these pictures are taken with my camera and I want to share them.

My friends from first grade. Of course, they're fifth graders now. I went to learn in their classroom for about a week. I love Anuban Ubonratchatani School.

In Thailand, we grow our own rice. If you go into a store, and if you see Thai Jasmine rice, this is where it come from. It takes about 4 or 5 months for them to grow until you can harvest it.

My grandfather owns a farm. Once during my vacation, I went fishing on that farm, along with Kanoon, my cousin. My grandfather and my mother dug earthworms for us to use as bait. We didn't catch anything though.

Kanoon and I are fishing for tiny tiny waterplants in these cement ponds. We collect them in a little bucket to feed the fish. Fish actually eat this. There was a little surprise in the pond. While we fish for the tiny plants, there was a fish about 1 foot long at the bottom of the pond. It seems eel like, although it's not an eel. There's one time Kanoon told me that he kind of touched the fish! Once, I saw the fish come up to the surface! Bad timing. Nobody saw the fish except me.

These pictures were taken at Wat Pra Kaew and the Grand Palace in Bangkok. There were people from all around the world. They have traveled to Thailand to see the palace. I saw people from China, Europe, and even the United States!

These elephants that are bathing each other at the elephant camp in Chiang Mai. They were splashing and there was a time when one elephant sat on the other! Water was splashing everywhere!

These two pictures are taken at the elephant camp. These two elephants are playing soccer! The soccer balls are bigger than they regulary would be.

I saw elephants paint pictures of flowers and trees! It was amazing! They are very welled trained. The pictures are really beautiful and realistic.

Things were going fine until it rained. One elephant wasn't finished yet.

This is a finished painting from one of the elephants. This picture was taken before it rained.

It has already started raining. Now, in this picture, two elephants are playing a game that they have to get the sticks into a basket. But they can only pick up one stick at a time.

At the end of the show, people can go down and feed the elephants if they want to.
